Lemons

To lemon or not to lemon? That is the question. I personally prefer lemon in my tea to add some flavor. But, did you know lemon can actually add health benefits? Lemons are high in vitamin C and flavonoids which help fight infections like the flu and the common cold. Moreover, although lemons are acidic to the taste, they are alkaline forming which help balance the pH in your body. Lemons also help detoxify the liver which will help the liver with most other cleansing functions. Lemons also prevents scurvy, clean your bowels, dissolve kidney stones, and many other bodily functions. There are many reasons to add lemon to your tea and/or water.
