Do you have live classes?

Do you have online classes?

Yes we have online classes. In fact, you can start reading notes, watching vidoes, and taking quizzes as early as today! Study at your own pace. Visit our SHOP page for more options.

How early can I sign up?

You can sign up today! The sooner you sign up, the sooner you can begin studying. If you have questions before you sign up, you can always CONTACT US. It's a great time to be a personal trainer.

How long does it take to finish?

Our classes are tyically 8 weeks long. If you prefer self-paced, you can finish in 2 weeks or in 6 months.

What is the Master Trainer Certification?

The Master Trainer program entails more science and more biology. Also, you'll learn advanced fitness assessments for you and your clients. And our Master Trainer program will get you ready for an accredited exam.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes we have payment plans. Please CONTACT US to talk about different types of payment plans. We will try to work with your schedule and your situation.

Can you guarantee a job after I receive my certification?

Gyms call us every week looking for PFTA personal trainers. If you complete the Master Trainer program, we guarantee you will receive a job offer. It's up to you to take the one that matches your needs.

I already have a certification. Can I sign up for gym training only?

Yes you can. CONTACT US directly to hear our options. You'll love the hands-on training you will receive in the gym.

Can I just take the nutrition class?

Yes you can. CONTACT US directly to hear our options. Working out is important; BUT, we feel nutrition is just as important for you and your clients to reach their goals.

Is the personal trainer certification NCCA approved?

Yes we have a program that includes an NCCA approved personal trainer certification. The Master Trainer programs includes an NCCA exam. We will prepare you to pass all exams including the NCCA personal trainer exam.

Do you accept international students?

Yes we do accept international students. Sign up today and start learning today. Get your personal trainer certification online. We always recommend gym training but we also believe that some students have already had plenty of gym experience to be successful personal trainers.

When does the next class start?

You can start classes any time. It's a great time to be a personal trainer. The sooner you start, the sooner you can earn your personal trainer certification. We will keep you updated on the next live classes in the gym. You can also check out our LOCATIONS page to get updated information on class dates near you.

Does PFTA offer liability insurance for its students?

Unfortunately, no we do not. But we have partnered with Sports Fitness in order for our graduates to obtain liability insurance. Just go to their website and enter PFTA as your personal trainer certification. They have very competitive and affordable prices. We highly recommend them!

Do you offer CPR classes for your students?

We currently do NOT offer CPR classes; but, we know several CPR teachers that can help you obtain your CPR certification. We always recommend taking an AED class as well.

Do I need a CPR certification to sign up or to complete your program?

No you do NOT need a CPR certification to sign up or get certified at PFTA Personal Trainer Certification School. Some employers may require a CPR certification though. You may want to check with your employer or your future employer. We can help you obtain CPR and AED as well.

How long is the PFTA personal trainer certification valid?

The certification will be valid for 3 years. After 3 years, the current rate to renew is $199. Renewals will also be 3 years. Although we don't require CECs or CEUs, we will require a short personal trainer quiz in the future.

Do you have any other certification programs?

We currently have the personal trainer certification, the sports nutrition certification, and the master trainer certification. We are working on a few more specialty certifications that will help you with your personal training programs. Stay tuned for more info!

Do you sell PFTA merch?
